Helen Flanagan in tears on Loose Women as former Coronation Street co-star consoles her

Helen Flanagan was consoled by her former Coronation Street co-star as she became tearful on Loose Women. There was a big ITV soap reunion on the lunchtime show on Thursday (August 15).

Kaye Adams was the only person on the panel not to have starred in Corrie as the broadcast was joined by Sally Dynevor, Sue Cleaver and Denise Welch. Helen was also the guest on the programme to chat about her upcoming Celebs Go Dating appearance.

But things got emotional for the former soap star, who shot to fame playing Weatherfield's Rosie Webster, and she looked to former on-screen mum Sally, known for playing Sally Metcalfe in the soap, for support.

Helen was asked about her split from ex-fiance Scott Sinclair after an earlier discussion about 'forever love'. The former couple, who share three children, split in 2022. "I was with my ex Scott from being 19, he was my world," she said before turning to Sally who agreed from her time spent with Helen over the years.

It led to Helen being asked about the psychotic episodes earlier this year due to a reaction to medication. The first fans heard of her ill health was first mentioned when she was forced to pull out of her stage debut in Cluedo 2 - The Next Chapter where she was meant to play Miss Scarlett.
