Heavy rush-hour traffic on main road as one lane shut after crash
Traffic is building on a main road in Salford this morning after a crash.
One lane has been shut off on Regent Road after a 'minor road traffic collision', according to Transport for Greater Manchester. The closure is in place on the eastbound carriageway of the A57 near the junction with Oldfield Road.
Congestion is currently back to the M602 at junction 2. Drivers have been urged to allow extra time for their journeys through this morning's rush-hour.

A tweet posted by TfGM at around 7.30am this morning said: "A57 Regent Road, Salford. One lane is blocked travelling eastbound near the junction with Oldfield Road due to a minor road traffic collision.
"Congestion back to M602 J2. Allow extra time for your journey. Follow #TfGMTraffic."
