Hearts daft Spartans star wants Lawrence Shankland square up to share new contract persuasion plan

Few Hearts fans would swither when asked if they’d want Lawrence Shankland leading the line as they kick off their Scottish Cup bid on Saturday.

“But at the same time there’s a part of me that wants to play against him. Why? So I can tell him to sign that contract! But seriously, I want to see how my game fits against his or just how good he actually is. I’ve loved watching him for the past 18 months. He’s my favourite player.

“How do we stop him? Hope that he has an off day and we have the game of our lives. Shankland’s link-up play is so much
