Manchester United's exciting youngster Godwill Kukonki has "impressed" Ruben Amorim.

The Manchester Evening News revealed on Wednesday morning that Kukonki would be included in the United squad for the first time in his career against Arsenal at The Emirates.

Kukonki took part in Amorim's first training session at Carrington last month and has continued to be involved with first-team sessions, despite being just 16-years-old.

The promising young defender is seen as someone who possesses the required technical and physical qualities to excel in senior football. Kukonki is naturally left-footed and has operated as a centre-back and as a left-back when starring for a talented Under-18 side this season.

Kukonki travelled to Ipswich Town for Amorim's first game in charge but didn't make the squad but United felt that opportunity was a valuable learning experience.
