Harlee Dean starts: The predicted Sheffield Wednesday XI to face Ipswich on Saturday

Darren Moore’s side have beaten seventh place Plymouth Argyle and lost to sixth place Oxford United in their last two league games.

This weekend they take on eighth place Ipswich, who are directly above the Owls in the table.

Victory would take Moore’s side two points ahead of Ipswich, while also having two games in hand on the Tractor Boys.

Here, we predict how Wednesday are likely to line up for their big game this weekend…

The Owls remain without key men Dominic Iorfa and Chey Drunkley in their backline. However, new signings Jordan Storey and Harlee Dean are both in contention to make their debuts for their new club.

Competition further up the pitch will be quite intense, too, with several players all fighting for a place in this weekend’s starting side.

Moore is likely to keep a settled midfield, with the help of no new fresh injury concerns to the three men who will slot back into place against Ipswich.

However, up front, Josh Windass will likely come in as a replacement for Sylla Sow following Windass’ recent good performances off the bench which included a goal against both Plymouth and Oxford in their two most recent fixtures.
