Dean, Windass and John-Jules - Sheffield Wednesday injury news and expected return dates

There is a little over 48 hours to go until Sheffield Wednesday return to League One action.

The Owls welcome mid-table Accrington Stanley looking to bounce back after Sunday's 2-0 defeat to Rotherham United.

Should Wednesday pick up the three points and complete the league double over Stanley, Darren Moore's side will climb back into the play-off positions for the first time since November.

But Moore has already confirmed none of his 10 injured first-team players will be fit to feature against the Lancashire outfit.

Here is all you need to know about the current state of play at Hillsborough and the potential return dates for those currently on the sidelines.

Neither Gibson nor Iorfa have featured at senior level since October.

But the pair have returned to full training.

Dunkley, meanwhile, has revealed on social media he is in the "last bits of rehab to tick a box" as he edges closer to a first-team return following a hamstring problem.

"Lewis Gibson, Dominic Iorfa and Chey Dunkley are all making great progress. We don't quite have Chey back with us yet. He is doing individual work.

"Dominic Iorfa and Lewis Gibson are back in the training ground. They are back in and involved in the squad again. We are looking at increasing their volume and to give them some in-house games to aid their recovery.

"The three of them are making good progress - Chey is probably a little bit behind them but is not too far."

End of February.

The eight-goal striker has missed the last five matches due to a foot problem.

"Lee Gregory is making good progress but still feeling his knock a little bit."

Possibly Doncaster Rovers.

It has been an injury-hit campaign for the forward. He has only played eight times, scoring four goals.
