Charlie Goode starts: The predicted Sheffield United XI to play Hull on Tuesday night

Sheffield United will be looking to inflict further pressure on the play-off positions when they welcome Hull City to Bramall Lane tomorrow evening.

Sitting in eighth, and just three points from the play-offs, the Blades have been knocking on the door of the top six with some excellent recent form.

Unbeaten in their last six, Paul Heckingbottom’s side have picked up 14 points in that time, in what has been a relatively difficult run of fixtures. 

The Blades have also conceded just a single goal in their last five games, proving to be resilient in defence and mean attack, Heckingbottom will be hoping to maintain this formula as the season progresses. 

The 44-year-old spoke about freshening things up to Yorkshire Live after Sheffield United’s goalless draw at Huddersfield at the weekend, for the purposes of squad rotation in a busy few weeks for his side. 

With that in mind, here is how the Blades could line up for the visit of Hull tomorrow…

Waiting patiently at the start of the season, Wes Foderingham has fully cemented himself as the number one shot-stopper at Sheffield United and he is likely to be awarded another start.

For the purposes of freshening things up, Chris Basham and Jack Robinson could be omitted from the starting XI against Hull tomorrow night.

This would pave a way for Charlie Goode to make his first appearance in a Sheffield United shirt, whilst Ben Davies could be deployed from the very tart too.

With left wing-back options limited at the moment, George Baldock is the likely candidate to cover there tomorrow.

Jayden Bogle has been excellent in recent weeks from right wing-back, and for this reason, he is likely to be deployed there once more against the Tigers.
