Hamilton Accies launch £3 games plan in bid to get fans in through their gates

Hamilton Accies have launched a three games for £3 offer for their remaining Championship home fixtures of the season, as they bid to avoid relegation.

Boss John Rankin said after their SPFL Trust Trophy win over Raith Rovers that he wanted the backing from the fans to help get them over the line.

And it looks like the New Douglas Park club have delivered with what they say is a spectacular offer for supporters.

Hamilton host rivals Cove Rangers in a crucial game at home on April 8, following that up with back-to-back visits by Inverness on Tuesday, April 18 and Partick Thistle four days later.

The offer means that fans will only pay £1 per game, and they must buy tickets to all three at the same time, but it works out at a saving of £57 per adult and £27 per child.

Chairman Allan Maitland said in a statement: "The support we received on Sunday at our cup final game with Raith Rovers through in Falkirk was phenomenal, and we would love to see that support replicated, and getting right behind the team as we fight to survive in the Championship.

"This ticket at three for £3 for the last three home league games of our season is the ideal way to do that, and we would love to see you all here at Hamilton Accies, showing your support to John Rankin and the lads - the SPFL Trust Trophy winners for 2022/23."

Ahead of tomorrow's clash at Dundee, Hamilton sit bottom of the league, a point below Cove Rangers and four off Arbroath in eighth, but with two games in hand over both.

Tickets go on sale from the ticket office at New Douglas Park from 12pm on Monday, and is restricted to one set of three tickets per person.
