Gustaf Lagerbielke 'spotted' as Celtic transfer draws closer after Parkhead snap teases squad number

Gustaf Lagerbielke has been spotted at Parkhead as he gets set to make his move to Celtic official.

The Swedish defender has jetted into Scotland as he looks poised to become Carl Starfelt's replacement in a £3m deal from Eslfsborg. His countryman has made the move to La Liga and Celta Vigo, with Brendan Rodgers acting fast to provide defensive cover. Fans have been eager to know when an announcement on the deal could happen and social media sleuths have got their first sight of the 23-year-old.

An image of Lagerbielke has appeared on social media, showing him inside Celtic Park with club staff. He is kitted out in a Celtic shirt and it appears to unveil his squad number, taking Starfelt's number four shirt ahead of his arrival. All of the club's summer signings so far - Marco Tilio, Yang Hyun-jun, Kwon Hyeok-kyu, Odin Thiago Holm and Maik Nawrocki - have signed long-term deals.
