Green Brigade share Celtic party plans as potential title clinching date looms into view

The Green Brigade have unveiled plans for a full stadium tifo as a potential title party date for Ange Postecoglou's Celtic side looms.

With a 12-point advantage at the top of the league - having won 30 of their 32 games this season - it appears highly likely that it will be green and white ribbons on the Premiership trophy again after another fantastic year under their Australian leader. And the club's vocal ultras section have already announced their plans to bring in a party with the whole stadium down the home stretch.

Just like the season opener at home to Aberdeen, they plan to have a full stadium tifo and have opened a fundraiser to make Celtic Park a wall of colour on a memorable day, with a potential title victory likely to be celebrated at the final home game of the term. They said in a statement: "Before the season started, the Green Brigade launched a Tifo Fund to support the group's tifo effort throughout the season, including an ambitious aim for two full stadium tifos. The fund raised a total of £29,674.53 (after fees) and £22,227.66 of that was spent on the 'Flag Day' full stadium tifo on the opening day of the season.

"Since then, a further £8,740.01 has been spent on tifos. As we approach the final stages of the season we are planning the second full stadium tifo.

"In order to produce another memorable display, we require similar funding which is why we are relaunching the Tifo Fund. In addition to this, and if necessary, we may hold a bucket collection at an upcoming match to ensure costs can be met."

Who they face in the top six is somewhat unknown. Some of the top half is yet to be decided, with St Mirren, Hibs and Livingston all vying to claim a spot this weekend.
