Greater Manchester weekend weather forecast as temperatures set to soar over 20C
Autumn may be upon us - but this weekend Greater Manchester will enjoy sunshine and temperatures up to 21C, according to Met Office forecasters.
Some northern areas could be hit by outbreaks of rain on Friday night but for most of us it is expected to remain dry, with temperatures remaining high for the time of year and struggling to dip below 11C overnight.
On Saturday, the Met Office promised a cloudy start to to the day with any rain slowly clearing northwards during the morning, giving way to brighter skies and sunny spells coming from the south.

Winds will ease off and it will feel warm, with temperatures reaching 20C, said the Met Office. The chance of remain is rated as less than five per cent.
Forecaster said that the outlook for Sunday until Tuesday was largely dry although low cloud, mist and fog was possible overnight.
"Unseasonably warm for early October. Turning cooler and more changeable from Tuesday night," said the Met Office.
