Grealish, De Bruyne, Gvardiol - Man City injury news and return dates ahead of Luton Town

Manchester City produced a second 1-0 victory on the trot on Saturday evening as they beat AFC Bournemouth in a tough clash on the South Coast.

Phil Foden bagged the only goal of the game as he turned in Erling Haaland's saved effort midway through the first half. City did not have things all their way against the Cherries but importantly secured the victory which moved them to within a point of Premier League leaders Liverpool.

The victory will have been even more pleasing for Pep Guardiola considering the trio of players he has missing at present. MEN Sport has rounded up the latest news on injuries below.

Prior to the clash against Bournemouth, Guardiola was confident his winger would not be on the sidelines for too much longer after coming off in the victory over FC Copenhagen. This prediction was correct as the former Aston Villa man made the bench at the weekend.

He was an unused substitute but it seems the forward could be in line for minutes sooner rather than later.

De Bruyne is suffering from 'slight niggles' according to his manager and was not risked from the start at Bournemouth. It is understandable why the Catalan head coach is cautious to risk the Belgian after missing most of the season with a muscular issue.
