Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid slips up as she makes huge Trump blunder
Susanna Reid was visibly shocked after making an on-air gaffe during today's Good Morning Britain.
Broadcasting live from Washington, D. C., alongside her co-host Ed Balls in anticipation of the US election, Susanna inadvertently referred to Donald Trump as "Donald Tramp" while discussing the upcoming contest against Kamala Harris for the presidency.
Back in the London studio, Richard Madeley and Kate Garraway joined forces with news reporter Ranvir Singh, while Laura Tobin delivered the weather updates this Tuesday morning.
The show also featured various correspondents reporting from different locations across the United States.
The slip of the tongue occurred as Susanna was welcoming viewers back to their special US coverage. She announced: "Good Morning Britain. From Washington, D.C., American voters go to the polls to either put Donald Tramp - Trump - excuse me -back in the White House or promote Kamala Harris to President of the United States."
Viewers were quick to react on social media. One fan commented: "Donald Tramp.. hilarious.. @gmb @susannareid100 #gmb." Another chimed in with: "Trying their hardest not to call him tramp #gmb."
A third shared: "When @susannareid100 accidentally calls Donald Trump 'Donald Tramp' @GMB." A fourth observed: "Susanna Reid accidentally calling him 'Donald Tramp' is the most accurate piece of USA Election analysis #GMB has ever produced."
Ed and Susanna have made the journey to Washington, D. C., specifically for the election coverage. Revealing their itinerary, Susanna said: "Ed Balls and I are flying straight out to Washington, D.C., after hosting Good Morning Britain on Monday, 4 November.
"We'll be soaking up the atmosphere. Then we'll be on the ground, presenting the election
