Gogglebox fan-favourites hint at major TV comeback after almost a decade away

It's being speculated that two much-loved former stars of Gogglebox might be making a triumphant return to the show, eight years after they both left the popular Channel 4 series.

Sandra Martin and Sandi Bogle, who were part of the original lineup when Gogglebox first aired back in 2013, are reportedly considering a comeback. Sandi said goodbye to the show in 2016, with Sandra deciding to bow out year later in 2017, much to the disappointment of viewers who loved their dynamic and humour with one another.

A source has suggested that the duo, over a decade since they debuted on TV screens, may be looking to rekindle their television partnership. The whispers of a return began at the National Reality TV Awards on Wednesday.

At the event, which took place at Porchester Hall in London, Sandra told The Sun: "To tell you the honest truth, I would rather us now be on Netflix at the moment."

She also teased, "But you will be seeing us doing something together again in the future! " as reported by the Mirror, reports WalesOnline.

Sandi, who has since appeared on Celebrity Big Brother, played coy when asked about a potential Gogglebox return. At the glitzy event, she suggested to those asking that it's not out of the question, saying they "may" see them on the show once more.

Despite Sandra recently telling the press she's fully booked for work, this is a far cry from her situation in June when she revealed she was "broke" and "technically homeless," admitting she had "no money".

Sandra recently divulged to The Sun about being extremely busy, saying she's "totally booked out" with "some things going on". She teased fans with a hint about her future appearances by mentioning, "But you will be seeing me very shortly."

Earlier in the
