Inside Sister Boniface Mysteries star Lorna Watson's life away from TV

Lorna Watson, a well-known actress and comedian, has made her mark in the television industry with numerous appearances, including her own sketch show, Watson and Oliver, alongside fellow comedian Ingrid Oliver.

However, she is perhaps best recognised for her role as Sister Boniface, a character she portrayed in the Father Brown episode The Bride of Christ. In 2020, it was revealed that Lorna would feature in a new ten-part series called Sister Boniface Mysteries, which subsequently premiered on Britbox and is currently being broadcast on BBC One.

Following two successful series, a fourth instalment is now in production. But what else do we know about Lorna Watson?

Away from her professional commitments, Lorna prefers to keep her personal life under wraps. Her Instagram account primarily showcases her work, interspersed with occasional fun posts of food and outings, reports OK!.

It remains unclear whether Lorna is single or in a relationship, as she has not disclosed any information about a partner online or in interviews.

In addition to her acting career, Lorna has another hidden talent - she is a children's author. Her first book, Rabbit on the Rampage, hit the shelves in February. She has posted pictures of the entertaining book, illustrated by Rikin Parekh and published by Walker Picture Books, on Instagram.
