GoCardless Kent Sunday Junior Trophy Final: Ashford Wanderers 3 The Plough 2 at Ashford United
A treble was completed as Ashford Wanderers edged a five-goal Kent Sunday Junior Trophy Final against The Plough at Ashford United’s Homelands ground on Sunday.

Darcy Churchwood made it 3-1 to leave a second-half Joe Remington strike in vain.

But six minutes later, they went in front. Teenage wideman Akshar Santhosh cut off the left wing and drilled beyond keeper Charlie Hills to cap a super solo goal.
“Akshar’s scored special goals all year since he’s come in,” Wratten said. “He’s an incredible talent.
“You will see him climbing up the leagues soon!”
Wanderers continued to dominate the early stages after taking the lead as Hills was called into action to thwart Dobbin and the vastly-experienced Burdon.
