Goalkeeper Altay Bayindir in apparent Fenerbahce 'farewell' amid Manchester United transfer links
Manchester United-linked goalkeeper Altay Bayindir appeared to say farewell to Fenerbahce's supporters ahead of their Europa Conference League play-off tie against FC Twente in Turkey on Thursday evening.
Reports over the last few days have connected United with signing the 25-year-old shot-stopper. United are interested in adding a new goalkeeper to their squad ahead of the transfer window closing next Friday evening.
Amid uncertainty concerning Dean Henderson's future at Old Trafford, the Reds want to recruit a second-choice shot-stopper that can provide both cover and competition for Andre Onana. The latter joined the club from Inter Milan last month and has firmly established himself as the club's new No.1.
Henderson has started United's opening two Premier League fixtures on the bench, but has been closely linked with a loan move to Crystal Palace over the last few days. Henderson is understood to be confident that he will seal an exit before the window slams shut.

The former Sheffield United loanee spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest, only for his campaign to be cut short because of a thigh injury. He has not played since January. However, he understandably wants to secure first-team football and that is not going to be granted to him at Old Trafford following the capture of Onana.
In the event of him leaving, it appears as though Bayindir could be on his way to Old Trafford. After it was reported by The Athletic on Tuesday that United were conducting medical tests on the goalkeeper, he appeared
