'Go and win the game' - Oscar Bobb repaid Man City faith at Newcastle and got a reward from his teammates

The away fans high up in the Leazes Stand at St James' Park weren't the only ones singing Oscar Bobb's name after his injury-time winner at Newcastle. When the 20-year-old returned to the away dressing room after an on-pitch interview, his teammates were singing it too.

"Of course there is some tactical stuff but he wanted to win the game so said for me to do that. Go and try to score a goal. Thankfully I did," said Bobb.

The winger has been named City's under-23s player of the year for the last two seasons but is now firmly a part of Guardiola's squad, having initially impressed Txiki Begiristain before catching the eye of Guardiola in Japan and South Korea this summer.
