Gillingham turn to CBeebies presenter and lifelong fan Phil Gallagher, aka Mister Maker, to help create a lilac and black third shirt
Children’s TV presenter Mister Maker has helped create a change kit for Gillingham that has divided opinion.
In a week where the Gills have revealed the three kit designs for the 2026/27 season, it’s their third shirt that has created the biggest stir, inspired by their celebrity fan from the popular CBeebies art show Mister Maker.

Phil Gallagher is a lifelong Gills fan and he created a short video for the club as they unveiled their latest shirt.
Filmed at Priestfield, Mister Maker said being part of the Gills family means the world to him and he got creative to help inspire the club’s third kit, in lilac, green and black swirls.
Having created a design on paper, Mister Maker said: “I wonder if this gives Gillingham Football Club their own arty idea?!”
He signed off with a message: “Keep making things, keep being creative and keep supporting your favourite football team, lots of love and most importantly, up the Gills!”
We are delighted to reveal this season’s third kit with the help of Mister Maker!
