'Get rid of VAR!' — Manchester United fans furious after Marcus Rashford denied goal vs Everton

A number of Manchester United supporters hit out at VAR after Marcus Rashford was denied a fourth Premier League goal of the season in Sunday evening's 2-1 win over Everton at Goodison Park.

The England international, who was restored to the starting line-up after stepping off the bench to score twice in the Reds' 3-2 win over Omonia Nicosia in the Europa League on Thursday night, thought he had put the gloss on a solid away performance from Erik ten Hag's side with just ten minutes of normal time remaining. The attacker beat Everton defender Seamus Coleman to a loose ball, rounded Jordan Pickford and stroked the ball home into the empty net, putting United what he thought was 3-1 up.

However, after racing away to celebrate in front of the travelling contingent of United supporters who had made the short hop along the M62, the goal was disallowed for handball. Rashford was deemed to have handled the ball after it bounced up into his path after coming together with Coleman.

It was a huge blow for Rashford as he thought he had sealed a well-earned three points for Ten Hag's side, who had turned the game on its head in the first-half, courtesy of goals from Antony and substitute Cristiano Ronaldo. Unsurprisingly, United's supporters were apoplectic with the decision.

Below, MEN Sport has taken a close look at what United's supporters had to say in response to Rashford being denied his third goal in his last two matches:
