Gemma Atkinson shares fresh message as she thanks 'angels' who helped her welcome son into world with Gorka Marquez

Gemma Atkinson has shared a fresh message on social media after announcing she had given birth to her second child. The Hits Radio confirmed the arrival of her son in an Instagram post on Wednesday morning (July 19) which was also shared by fiance Gorka Marquez.

Gemma, 38, and the Strictly Come Dancing star announced back in January that they were expanding their brood, confirming they were expecting a baby boy this summer after welcoming their first-born, daughter Mia, in 2019.

And after keeping the loved-up couple and his older sister waiting longer than expected for his entrance into the world, Gemma and Gorka, 32, confirmed their 'little man' had finally made an appearance and that their family 'was complete'.

"Little man is here!" Gemma confirmed in a typed-out message to her millions of followers against a black background on her Instagram Story, which Spanish professional dancer Gorka also copied and shared to his own account.

"He arrived safe and sound and he’s utterly wonderful," the former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks star added before sharing more details about their brand new life as a family of four. "Mia is already the mother hen we expected her to be," new mum-of-two Gemma went on, adding a crying laughing emoji.

She also said: "We’re all home together soaking up this lovely little bubble before Gorks has to leave for Strictly rehearsals next week," before adding: "Thank you for all the lovely well wishes. Our family is complete," before adding emojis depicting two adults and two children before adding two dog emojis to represent their beloved pet pooches - Norman and Ollie - before finishing with a string of red love
