Gemma Atkinson addresses having children in her 30s as she gushes over Gorka Marquez with cheeky dig

Gemma Atkinson has been quizzed on whether she worried about having her second child in her late thirties. The Hits Radio host and her fiance Gorka Marquez welcomed their son, Thiago Thomas Marquez, into the world last month.

The loved-up couple, who met and fell in love on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017, welcomed their firstborn, daughter Mia, just over four years before Thiago's arrival and got engaged in between, on Valentine's Day in 2021. They announced they were expecting again back in January and have kept their fans and followers updated ever since.

Thiago, or Tio for short, made his entrance into the world on July 17 just as Gemma, 38, was set to reach 41 weeks pregnant. She has since opened up about her son's birth, via C-section, and shared all about her post-baby body as she documents her recovery.

But on Thursday (August 3), the star took to Instagram to take part in a Q&A with her followers. She was asked a whole host of questions including what the hardest part about going from one child to two, how she felt different following Thiago's birth compared to Mia's, and spoke about breastfeeding and her post-birth recovery.

Away from those, Gemma was also asked: "Did you worry about having a baby in later 30s?" to which the new mum-of-two was quick to say: "No," before explaining: "If I have had them earlier I'd be single now as I was in the wrong relationships in my 20s and early 30s I didn't meet Gorka until I was 33 by which point I'd had loads of fun, built my career, travelled loads and was financially stable."
