Gemma Atkinson 'not quite ready' as she shares post-birth update after adorable moment before 'first' after birth

Gemma Atkinson has told fans she's 'not quite ready' after she pushed herself a little further in her post-baby recovery. The Hits Radio host welcomed her second child into the world last month with her fiance Gorka Marquez.

Throughout her pregnancy, which she announced in January much to her fan and followers' delight, Gemma, 38, shared regular honest updates with her fans and followers and that hasn't changed since she welcomed Thiago, whose known by Tio for short, via C-section after not being able to have her hoped for VBAC.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday morning (August 3), the former Hollyoaks and Emmerdale star spoke directly the camera as she said: "So you can see I'm sweating... Mia has been wanting to take Thiago to pre-school and I said I'd do it today."

She went on to share: "So we popped him in the car, my mum drove us, and I carried him in his car seat and then after that we walked for about 15 minutes and just that on its own has set my scar off throbbing a bit and I feel a bit, not sick, bit urgh'. It's just a reminder, a constant reminder of what your body's been through if you've had a C-section and just to slow down.
