Gary Neville makes Manchester United top-four prediction

Gary Neville says Manchester United’s ability to bounce back from disheartening defeats will see them earn a top four Premier League finish.

After a disappointing loss to Newcastle, the Reds responded with a 1-0 win over Brentford last week before beating Everton 2-0 on Saturday. It means United sit fourth, only behind the Magpies on goal difference and three points ahead of Tottenham with a game in hand.

Both United and Newcastle are frontrunners in the race for Champions League qualification with just nine Premier League games left to play. Erik ten Hag’s side still have Spurs to play away from home as well as the yet-to-be rearranged clash with Chelsea.
