Gary Neville has issued Erik ten Hag with stark Manchester United transfer reminder
Manchester United in it's prime was the team everyone wanted to join.
A team coached by the best manager in the world, full to the brim with world-class talent, and a regular challenger for silverware, United was the place that turned good players into elite ones. But it is now the opposite.
In the decade since Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement, United has become a place that potential comes to die, a team in which promising players and managers find various ways to under-perform and underwhelm. Most of his signings in the first window at least maintained their previous level, with many improving. Casemiro's move was mocked by rival fans but looked shrewd come Christmas, while Lisandro Martinez made fools of the pundits who predicted his demise for being too small.

"I feel very sorry for the manager," Neville told talkSPORT this week. "I know a lot of people will say he’s got to do a lot better, and that’s fine, he’s the Manchester United manager, but there are a lot of big problems at the club that managers have found over the last ten years.
"I think until those problems are solved we’ll still continue
