Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher agree on Man City's Premier League title chances

Manchester City's rivals Arsenal and Liverpool have been given a strong warning by Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville.

The former Manchester United defender reckons despite the Blues currently being fifth, they're feeling pretty chirpy about their chances in the Premier League title fight. Arsenal are six points ahead right now - but don't forget, Pep Guardiola's team have got a game in hand.

Arsenal held onto their top spot after a 1-1 tie against Liverpool. It means followers of Mikel Arteta's side are buzzing as this is the second Christmas in a row there leading the table. Mikel Arteta, the Arsenal boss, is crossing his fingers that his side can go all the way this time after coming second last season.

But Gary Neville believes City are still the title favourites as he shared on his Sky Sports podcast: "For Manchester City, they have been below par, let's be clear," and "I won't use the word complacent, but they've been below par by their standards.

"But I think if they're going into February in a position where they're neck and neck with these teams [Arsenal and Liverpool], and these teams haven't stepped up a level, they'll feel really confident because that sort of know-how of running down the final straight with that power in attack in Erling Haaland. If Kevin De Bruyne comes back as well, he can be a difference maker."
