Full list of Bolton Wanderers transfer window ins and outs as summer business assessed

Bolton Wanderers made a total of five signings in the summer transfer window while there were also departures from the League One club.

Ian Evatt's side made no more acquisitions on transfer deadline day. This was despite the intention of further reinforcements being made, but none came to fruition for Wanderers.

This was Evatt's third summer transfer window in which he has been in charge of the Whites. It proved to be the one with the fewest signings he has made in his time in the dugout at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Wanderers adopted a quality over quantity approach this summer to add further strength in depth to the squad. It supplemented and built on the work done in January to bring it up to the standard needed to compete at the top end of League One.

Jack Iredale's arrival from Cambridge United on a free transfer looks to be a shrewd piece of business. The defender has impressed both in the middle and as competition for Declan John at left wing-back.

Eoin Toal is the second permanent signing made this summer after arriving from Derry City. He recently made his debut against Crewe Alex and showed promising early signs in the heart of defence.

In terms of loan acquisitions, James Trafford has continued from where he left off at the end of last season after returning from Manchester City. He looks to be continuing as the club's number one goalkeeper.

Liverpool's Conor Bradley has got straight into the team at right wing-back and has been a revelation. His performances have seen him be one of the early stars of the season.
