Four Manchester United players who would benefit from Randal Kolo Muani transfer

Louis Saha has urged Manchester United to try and sign Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani in this summer's transfer window, outlining what qualities he would bring to Old Trafford.

The Frenchman, who joined Frankfurt on a free transfer last summer after failing to sign a new deal at Nantes, is one of a handful of strikers that United are continuing to monitor. They are desperate to add a new No.9 to their ranks this summer but face an uphill struggle because of financial fair play regulations.

United are understood to have started the window with a budget of around £120million and have already eaten into half of that with the capture of Mason Mount from Chelsea. It means the Reds now desperately need to offload members of their squad to raise funds.

That, however, is much easier said than done, meaning United could be forced to reconsider their options in the hunt for a new goal-getter. But in the event of funds being available and a deal being doable, former Reds ace Saha believes Kolo Muani would be an ideal fit for Erik ten Hag.

"In the last year, Randal Kolo Muani has really developed and during the World Cup showed his talent and that he can handle the pressure," Saha told Paddy Power. "It was really captivating to see the way he had a strong link with Kylian Mbappe.

"He's a smart lad, he's got stamina, height and he's really hard to defend against.

"Players like Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Mason Mount would all be very excited to play with a player who gives them so many options."
