Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2: Where to Find Rail Gun

Rails Gun is back in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 and here’s a quick and easy way to find it on the map. 

A new limited time event called Rail Gun Recon Week is well underway in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, bringing new Rail Gun Recon Quests to complete. Since the event is all about the Rail Gun, so it’s given that the weapon has made its way back into the game.

The Rail Gun is a Sniper Rifle which made its debut in Chapter 2 Season 7. This time around weapon will be available in Rare, Epic, Legendary rarities. You need to charge it before shooting. 

Once charged, it will fire a high damage beam capable of infliciting decent damage to opponents. With the Rail Gun now returning players can check out the sniper rifle once again.

The Rail Gun is quite a powerful weapon and the credit for this partly goes to its ability to do damage through a single wall. This means that you can deal damage to enemies hiding behind walls when you shoot.

It deals around 500-550 damage to structures and doesn’t lose damage when penetrating through a single structure. Like most Fortnite weapons, you can find the Rail Gun in floor loot, chests, or IO chests. You can even check out the high-tier loot zones as the chances of the weapon spawning there is quite high.
