Former Manchester United target Benjamin Sesko admits watching videos of Man City ace on YouTube

Manchester United transfer target Benjamin Sesko has revealed that he watches videos of Manchester City star Erling Haaland on YouTube.

Sesko was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford during the summer transfer window, but the 19-year-old eventually agreed to join RB Leipzig next year. United pushed hard for the transfer to be made, with football director John Murtough holding a meeting with Sesko's agent, Elvis Basanovic, in an attempt to broker a move.

The Slovenian scored 11 goals in 37 appearances across all competitions for Red Bull Salzburg last season. Sesko even scored against Liverpool in pre-season, a strike that went down very well with the United faithful.

The Slovenian forward was in action as his country beat Norway 2-1 at the weekend, with Sesko scoring the winner. After the match, the Salzburg star admitted that he is a big admirer of Norway and City star Erling Haaland.

He told Norway's TV 2 : "He's an amazing player, I've big respect for him and I usually watch many YouTube videos about him."

After the game, Sesko went up to Haaland to swap shirts. He said of the meeting: "I'm very happy I received Haaland's jersey. I want [to] keep it for my jersey collection. He also said 'well played', I was very happy."

The Slovenia international was then asked if he could go on to become an even better player than Haaland, to which he replied: "It is very difficult. He is at the very, very highest level. Only a few per cent manage to be at that level".
