Football manager sacked after three days is convicted rapist who attacked woman in Manchester flat

A semi-professional football club manager sacked after just three days in charge is a convicted rapist who attacked a young woman in a Manchester city centre flat, it has emerged. Samuel Wilson's contract with Warrington Rylands FC was terminated earlier this week, CheshireLive reports.

Wilson was sentenced to five years in prison in September 2015. The judge at Manchester Crown Court ordered Wilson to sign the Sex Offenders' Register for life.

At the time, Det Con Sophie Swift, from GMP's Serious
