Next Man United manager odds as Sir Jim Ratcliffe given clear favourite in 10-man shortlist

It has been revealed who the bookies' favourite is to replace Erik ten Hag as the next permanent Manchester United manager. The 54-year-old currently faces an uncertain future at Old Trafford, with his contract set to expire at the end of next season.

With top-four mathematically impossible to achieve and Europa League qualification far from guaranteed, Ten Hag finds himself under immense pressure to transform the club's fortunes. Manchester United have won just two of their last 10 games in the Premier League, plummeting to eighth in the table.

While the former Ajax boss has struggled to garner results in the English top flight, he has led the club to the FA Cup final. The Red Devils will lock horns with Manchester City at Wembley Stadium at the end of May, with victory securing European football.

With the Dutchman fighting for his job, Sky Bet named 10 potential candidates to become the 'next permanent manager' by December 1, 2024.
