Fool Me Once locations in the Netflix hit drama you can visit in real life

It has become the most-watched show on Netflix since starting to stream on January 1 - and Fool Me Once, starring Michelle Keegan, has got viewers gripped. The drama follows widowed Maya, who makes a startling discovery on her nanny cam and - embarks on a desperate hunt for the truth about her murdered husband and sister.

For those watching the series in the north west, there is the added excitement of playing spot the location, with a host of familiar places in Manchester and Cheshire being used to film the action.

The good news for those impressed by some of the areas and venues featured is that many are open to the public - and can be visited either for free or for small entrance fees.

Here, we take a look at some of the key locations featured in the drama that you can pay a visit to in the weeks ahead.

A retro amusement arcade is seen in the opening titles to the show, and features as part of Maya's desperate search for answers in the drama. She is seen heading to the large arcade after discovering it may have a link to her sister Claire who was murdered.

Fans of the venue spotted straight away that this is The Arcade Club in Bury. Which hails itself as 'Europe's largest arcade', so there is plenty to do in this particular spot.

As well as rows and rows of vintage and new arcade games, the venue also boasts a bar area where you can order drinks and snacks too. You pay an entry fee of £17 for adults and £9 for kids to get in but can stay as long as you like, and play on any of the 400 machines inside is free.
