Florist drove to pub after downing Jägermeister then parked car in a hedge

A florist has been banned from the road after she knocked back Jägermeister shots then drove to the pub and parked her car in a hedge.

Kim Riefer narrowly missed a bystander as she made her two mile journey to a pub in Lymm - but was apparently oblivious to the near-miss and drove on into a car park. The 58-year-old then left her Citroen Berlingo parked across two spaces with the front end of the vehicle embedded in the privet hedge.

Staff at the Jolly Thresher pub confiscated her key cars and called the police, Warrington Magistrates' Court heard. Riefer, who runs a florists shop in Manchester, was found 'incoherent' and barely able to speak in the ladies bathroom.
