Flight attendant reveals 'clothes you should not wear on plane' for chilling reason
A trainee flight attendant has issued a warning to holidaymakers about clothing choices that could spell disaster during flights.
If you’re preparing to get on a plane, it's natural to opt for the most comfortable attire - joggers, hoodies, shorts, and sandals are go-to garments for long haul flights. Yet, according to one trainee member of the cabin crew, you might want to reconsider at least two of those items.
Spanish TikToker @clauucuerdo shared what she learned while training to join the airline industry. Despite previously favouring shorts and sandals for flying, she emphatically revealed she would never do so again.

She said: "Never go on a plane in shorts. I used to wear shorts and even sandals, but I'm not going to do that anymore. I'm doing a course to become a flight attendant and I learned something today that I didn't know."
She explained that if there's an emergency landing and you have to disembark using one of the inflatable slides, having any skin exposed can lead to severe burns. She went on: "If there's an emergency and an evacuation has to be done, inflatable slides come out from doors and some windows of the plane which inflate at the moment and all passengers have to jump off.
"With the speed at which you're sliding down, you get burned. I mean, it literally burns your entire leg if you're not wearing long trousers. Obviously we hope that no emergency happens, but just in case, I would wear long trousers, socks and closed shoes."
Her video has since been watched more than 4.1 million times. In the comments section, some viewers mentioned that if their plane were to crash, suffering leg burns would be the least of their concerns.
