Five Eredivisie players Manchester United could look to sign under Erik ten Hag including Antony

With Erik ten Hag now appointed as the next permanent manager of Manchester United, thoughts will now turn to who the club will sign in the summer transfer window. Ralf Rangnick suggested in a recent press conference that up to 10 new players could be needed and this will only be emphasised by the number of planned departures.

United can't invest heavily in every position so they will need to get creative. Many fans have suggested that Ten Hag will return to Ajax for players but why narrow your search down to one club?

Sebastien Haller

United need striking reinforcements in the summer window. With no Champions League football, there is a possibility that United could fail to convince real top-level strikers to move to Old Trafford. If that is the case, Haller could provide a useful backup option.

The Ivorian striker has worked with Ten Hag at both Utrecht and Ajax and fits the profile the Dutchman would want. And for a reported £35m he would be a cost-effective option.

Antony

One of the main Ajax players to be linked to United this summer. The Brazillian winger has stated in the past that he would be open to a move to the Premier League and may look for a new challenge at the end of this season.

Antony has 12 goals and 10 assists in all competitions this season and would solve the club's issue on the right wing. In Ten Hag's team, the wingers are incredibly important and having a player that understands what the manager wants from his system
