Emergency services have rushed to the scene of a building fire on Tuesday night (February 11). Firefighters are battling a blaze at a commercial building on Blossoms Lane in Woodford in Stockport.

Firefighters are urging the public to avoid the area if possible. Nearby residents are also being told to keep their windows and doors shut due to the fire, which the fire service first confirmed it was attending shortly after 9pm.

There are a number of farms bordering Bolossoms Lane, along with a kennel and cattery.
