FIFA 22: 12 new retro kits coming, including Liverpool & Real Madrid

FIFA 22 is adding some iconic kits to Ultimate Team in a homage to historic moments for various clubs.

Ultimate Team adds content from current players and teams fairly often, but they are taking a step down memory lane for the latest drop.

A teaser from EA SPORTS has revealed the kits which will be available for Season 5 of the game mode and it is likely to be extremely popular with FIFA players.

There are 12 kits being introduced from some of the world’s greatest clubs, so you can expect to see a lot of them whenever you match against an opponent.

Liverpool’s 1982 kit that they won the League and League Cup in is included, as is Manchester City’s 1969 kit which was worn during their League Cup and Cup Winners’ Cup successes.

The other English clubs included are Tottenham’s 1961 kit and Leeds’ 1992 attire.

Spurs won the double during the 1960/61 season while Leeds won the First Division in 92 in the final season before the Premier League began.

The Milan clubs are also having the Ultimate Team treatment along with 13-time European champions Real Madrid.

The Inter Centenario strip was worn by Javier Zanetti, Hernan Crespo and Patrick Vieira in a season where the Italian giants won their 16th Serie A title.

Los Blancos won La Liga in 2006/07 season and the kit that David Beckham, Iker Casillas and Guti wore was one of their best.

Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica are more of the massive clubs involved from memorable times in their prestigious histories.

Portugal are the only international side used and Chilean side Universidad Catolica is the final team involved on the content drop.

Catolica wore a glorious kit in the 1960s and the stunning shirt celebrates some of the greatest times in their history.
