Fans make the same remarks as Gorka Marquez reunites with Helen Skelton after saying he 'needed' catch-up

It may be almost a year on since they missed out on the Glitterball trophy but it appears fans of Gorka Marquez and Helen Skelton don't feel any differently than they did following the final of Strictly Come Dancing last year as they saw them reunite in a string of sweet snaps.

Countryfile and On The Farm presenter Helen won the hearts of viewers as they watched her grow in confidence as the weeks went by, months after she confirmed her split from her ex-husband Richie Myler, with her pulling off her sassy, sexy and more emotional routines with the help of her new pal and Spanish professional dancer Gorka.

But despite plenty of support, it wasn't meant to be with the 2022 Strictly title going to Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystal and viewers claimed they spotted Gorka looking 'gutted' and claimed he was 'fuming' at the results. It was later reported that the 33-year-old was planning on quitting the show, on which he met his now-fiancee Gemma Atkinson, and Gorka quietly denied the rumours.

He has since returned to the BBC One dance contest with new celebrity dance partner Nikita Kanda. But during a break from rehearsals, Gorka squeezed in a catch-up with Helen and says he 'needed it'.

Sharing selfies of the pair both smiling for the camera and sticking their tongues out in a cheeky fashion, the new dad-of-two said: "Long overdue catch up need it with this one @helenskelton." He then added: "Oh I missed our breakfast meetings lol." Helen responded by saying: "There’s always time for coffee and toast."

But fans
