Gemma Atkinson left emotional over 'first' with baby Thiago after saying 'it's dawned on me'

Gemma Atkinson appeared emotional as she thought ahead to a 'first' involving her baby son. The Hits Radio host and her Strictly Come Dancing star fiance Gorka Marquez welcomed their second child into the world back in July.

The couple, who met on the BBC One dance contest in 2017, announced back in January that they were expanding their brood following the birth of their first child, Mia, in July 2019. The couple kept their fans and followers updated during the pregnancy and have done since their baby boy, Thiago Thomas Marquez, made a safe arrival into the world on July 17.

And while Gemma, 38, has been holding down the fort at home with their two children while Gorka works away on the current series of Strictly, where his is partnered with radio presenter Nikita Kanda, the new mum-of-two is going to get to enjoy her first 'night out' since her son was born.

Taking to her Instagram Story on Wednesday (October 4), Gemma shared how she was heading for a fitting with celebrity stylist Ryan Kay who is helping her get all glammed-up for one of the most inspirational nights of the year, the Pride of Britain Awards, which takes place on Sunday (October 8).

But she said her attendance at the event means she'll be spending her first night away from her Thiago, known as Tio for short, since he was born. "I have the final fitting for my Pride of Britain outfit with Ryan. I'm having my outfit made because he was like, 'Gem, what size are you now?' And I was like, 'I don't know!'"

She went on: "I've got one t*t bigger than the other still, my waist
