Fallon Sherrock shares health battle as she bids to face Luke Littler at World Darts Championship
Fallon Sherrock, the trailblazing 'Queen of the Palace', is gearing up for a potential second-round clash with darts prodigy Luke Littler at the PDC World Darts Championship but admitted she's recently been battling health issues.
Sherrock, who famously became the first woman to beat male competitors at the tournament five years ago, will first have to overcome Ryan Meikle in Tuesday night's opening round. A win would set her up for a prime-time showdown with 'Luke the Nuke' on Saturday night.
Despite the excitement, Sherrock remains focused on her immediate challenge against the world's No. 62, Meikle. She has praised Littler for handling his rise to fame well since his impressive run to last year's final but warns of the double-edged sword that comes with celebrity status.

"It's like a big pressure kind of thing," Sherrock explains. "You don't want to put a foot out of line.
"You don't want to do anything wrong. As soon as something happens, it is so blown up - you could literally write one tweet or comment on something – and next thing you know it's in the papers, it's everywhere on social media."
Sherrock admires how Littler is coping with the pressure, though, and maintaining his role model status. "It's like a fine line with the pressure you are under to be a role model as well, and I think he is doing really well.
"He is playing to his ability, he is not doing anything bad." Sherrock, now 30, reflected on her experiences in recent World Championship matches and shared: "It gets to you because I have played well each time, I have got the sets, but I haven't got over that line."
