Facundo Pellistri handed full debut as Manchester United fans choose line-up for Real Betis second leg

Manchester United fans have urged Erik ten Hag to hand Facundo Pellistri his full debut this evening when Manchester United face Real Betis in the Europa League.

United head to Seville for the second leg of their last-16 clash with a three-goal advantage, having won 4-1 at Old Trafford last week. Marcus Rashford opened the scoring that evening before a second-half blitz saw Antony, Bruno Fernandes and Wout Weghorst all find the net.

And with a return leg at the Benito Villamarín Stadium the penultimate game of a hectic couple of months - United face Fulham in the FA Cup on Sunday before an international break - supporters have decided that a three-goal lead is sufficient to rest some key players.

One of those changes will see Pellistri make his full debut after another impressive performance off the bench in the home tie. The Uruguayan came on in the 82nd minute and instantly impacted the game, his bursting run leading to Weghorst's first goal at Old Trafford.

Appearances for the 21-year-old have come exclusively from the bench, however, with Pellistri managing just 108 minutes in total. But a full debut could be handed out in Seville this evening, with United supporters backing the winger to start on the left.

Weghorst has been backed to lead the line again, with the hope he can add to the goal scored last week, while Jadon Sancho has been brought in to replace Rashford. The 25-year-old has played 42 games already this season, starting an incredible 17 games since the turn of the year - a much-needed rest, potentially.
