FA Cup fifth-round draw: Chelsea face Luton Town, Spurs travel to Middlesbrough

European champions Chelsea will take on Luton Town in the fifth round of the FA Cup while Liverpool will host Norwich City if they win their fourth-round tie against Cardiff on Sunday.

There are still three matches yet to be played this weekend, with holders Leicester City travelling to Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth hosting Boreham Wood.

However, the draw for the next round – which will be played in the week commencing Monday 28 February – has already taken place and thrown up some interesting ties.

West Ham survived a massive scare against non-league Kidderminster Harriers and will now take on fellow Premier League side Southampton in the last 16, while Chelsea were taken to extra-time by Plymouth Argyle and will be hoping for an easier time against Luton.

The big casualties of the fourth round were Manchester United, who lost on penalties on Friday night to Middlesbrough, and the Championship outfit will look to claim another big scalp when they take on Spurs.

New Everton boss Frank Lampard could take on Scott Parker if Bournemouth beat Boreham Wood, while Manchester City will travel to Peterborough after seeing off Fulham on Saturday.

The fifth-round matches will be played midweek at the very end of February and beginning of March, with games decided on the night with no replays. Winning clubs each collect £180,000 from the competition prize fund.
