FA Cup 3rd round draw LIVE: Cardiff City and Swansea City discover third-round opponents

Welcome to our live coverage of the FA Cup third-round draw. Cardiff City and Swansea City are both in the pot this evening and they will discover their opponents for when they enter the competition.

A total of 64 teams will be involved in the draw, including all 44 from the Premier League and Championship. There are also two non-league clubs in the hat for the draw with Dagenham & Redbridge and Tamworth joining the Bluebirds and the Swans in the hat.

Cardiff's FA Cup lasted just one game last season when they were battered 4-0 away to Sheffield Wednesday. The Swans, meanwhile, beat Morecambe in the third round before suffering a heavy, 5-0 defeat by Bournemouth in the fourth. Both sides will hope to fare better this term, no doubt.

The draw is set to take place this evening, with ties scheduled to take place around Saturday, January 11.

The draw is scheduled to take place on Monday, December 2, at approximately 7pm. Kelly Somers is expected to host the draw, which is being broadcast live on BBC Two, and be joined by Mark Hughes and Dion Dublin.
