Live updates as police incident shuts Cardiff city centre streets

Three main streets in Cardiff city centre have been closed off as police deal with an incident on Saturday afternoon. Station Terrace, Mary Ann Street, and Churchill Way near Queen street have been closed.

Emergency services have been pictured outside Guilford Crescent were building work is currently being carried out.

A statement from South Wales Police said that the roads are currently closed in both directions. Adding: "Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. Delays are expected in the area."
