Ex-Sheffield Wednesday and Aston Villa player Andre Green reacts to Slovan Bratislava title win
From the hustle and bustle of League One to winning a league title abroad. It has been a memorable season for former Sheffield Wednesday winger Andre Green.
The 23-year-old cut short his time at Hillsborough last August, opting to complete a shock move to Slovan Bratislava. Green joined the Slovak Supa Liga champions for an undisclosed fee, having made 15 Owls appearances.
Green, a graduate of Aston Villa's youth system, said he had no regrets over quitting the League One club. He told The Athletic: “This path that I’m on is an experience. I’ve got more experience than most English players of my age now because I’ve taken this step.
