Ex hints West Ham may now be eyeing £15m 'machine' after 'confirmed' scouting mission

Insider ExWHUemployee has revealed that West Ham United could be scouting Joakim Maehle ahead of possible transfer.

Earlier this week, Denmark beat Austria 2-1 in a UEFA Nations League that started 80 minutes late due to a power failure in the stadium. That delay may have caused some bother to a West Ham scout who was apparently at the game.

Ex explained on The West Ham Way Podcast that someone had certainly been at the game to view a player, and while it remains unclear as to who exactly that individual is, it could have been the Atalanta right-back.

The presenter said that the Dane is a ‘talented player’ and could have been the reason behind the scotuing trip. He began saying (3:15): “It’s been confirmed that there was a West Ham scout watching the Denmark versus Austria international game.”

Before going on to add (4:33): “There’s also a fullback for Denmark called Joakim Maehle, I think his name is, who also plays for Atalanta in Italy.

“He is highly rated, he can play left-back, can play right-back. He is meant to be a talented player.”
