Ex Hearts keeper scores sensational HAT TRICK after switching from shotstopper to striker

Former Hearts goalkeeper Bobby Zlamal scored a HAT TRICK after switching position to outfield from between the sticks.

The 38-year-old, who also had loan spells at both St Johnstone and St Mirren during his time in the Scottish Premiership, joined Czech seventh tier side FC Sigma Hodolany earlier this month and has been playing either as a midfielder or up front. And he took to social media to celebrate his treble feat during an eight-goal thriller as they drew 4-4 with FC Kralice na Hane.

Zlamal is combining his lower league playing career with punditry duties back in his homeland as he works on English Premier League games for Czech TV. One of his team-mates at FC Sigma Hodolany is 30-times capped former Czech international Marek Heinz who enjoyed an illustrious club level career at clubs such as Borussia Monchengladbach, Hamburg and Galatasaray.

Hearts signed Zlamal on a free transfer from Czech club Fastav Zlin when Craig Levin was in charge and he spent three years at Tynecastle. During his first season in Gorgie, he was PUNCHED by a Hibs fan during an Edinburgh derby.

He also sparked outrage for defending Slavia Prague’s Ondrej Kudela after he racially abused Glen Kamara during a Europa League clash against Rangers.
