Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag spoke to the media in San Diego on Monday to discuss a busy week for his squad as they face Wrexham and Real Madrid on successive nights.

A younger squad with some fringe players will line-up against Wrexham at the Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego on Tuesday, while the first-team face Real Madrid in Houston on Wednesday.

Ten Hag will take charge of both games and the senior squad and an Under-21s group have both been training in San Diego this week, with the first-team flying in from New York on Sunday to begin the second leg of their summer tour.

Ten Hag discussed the logistics involved in the week, the fitness of Amad and Anthony Martial, his contact with the Glazers and the progress made in signing a striker during his press conference at University of California San Diego.

He's not too bad, today he was running again, not involved in the group but we hope he can join in training tomorrow.
