Every word from Gio van Bronckhorst's Rangers press conference as he addresses new role for Glen Kamara

It was another famous European night for Rangers at Ibrox but there is no rest for the wicked.

Just three days after that thumping, energy-sapping victory over Red Star Belgrade, Gio van Bronckhorst's team are in Scottish Cup action against Dundee.

And while a trip to Tayside isn't as glamorous as a sold out clash under the Ibrox floodlights, it's every bit as important to their season.

A domestic cup win is key for Gers after Celtic clinched the Premier Sports Cup back in January and a victory over Mark McGhee and his team would put them within two wins of Hampden glory.

Van Bronckhorst has been speaking to the press ahead of that one and hinted that squad rotation is likely to come into play, given that it's sandwiched between two huge European games.

Here is everything the Rangers boss had to say.

How are the players after the win?

Physically it was a tough match. We came in after the game and had some concerns with John Lundstram’s ankle and also had to substitute Joe Aribo.

So we’re assessing them today and tomorrow to see if they can be involved on Sunday.

Will you rotate for Dundee?

We have a big squad so eventually, I will see who’s available for Sunday and also see the opponent and then decide which players to start, which game plan to use.

At the moment the process is still going on. When all the pieces are together we will make up a strong team because we want to be in the semi-final after the game.

How do you get the players refocused?

We have to rest well and recover well because it’s only two days. I think the mindset of the players is fantastic so I don’t have to say anything.

The players are in recovery mode today and tomorrow, the players who didn’t play yesterday trained today in a good session.
